We covenant with God          to believe the promise of unconditional love. We learn God's acceptance of us        through the life and teachings        of Jesus Christ,        whose story is found in the Bible. We trust in        the mysterious power and presence        of the Holy Spirit working in our lives. We believe God nurtures and challenges us        to be people of faith        who use our time, talents, and resources        to create a sanctuary of safety        in a chaotic world where people are often                       transient;                             marginalized;                              broken in body or spirit;                                      hopeless and without joy. We seek to be the Body of Christ, bringing       joy       hope       blessing       stability       charity       love       to an imperfect world       in need of God's Holy Presence.
